ACT to Deliver First Reseller “Green” Initiative in Bermuda - January 18, 2008

Applied Computer Technologies (ACT) has initiated discussions with a number of environmental organizations who specialize in the atmosphere friendly disposal of IT related equipment.

“It is our hope that within the first 6 months of the new year we formalize a partnership agreement and begin packaging and sending retired IT equipment from our clients to an overseas vendor who will dispose the units in an environmentally friendly way” said David Bart General Manager of ACT.

“Today many of our clients are unable to take the appropriate “green” measures to ensure that their IT equipment is disposed of properly. We believe that by providing a reliable and secure avenue for IT equipment disposal, all of corporate Bermuda will have the opportunity to be part of the overall global “green” movement. Mr. Bart went on to say that this initiative would be the first of its kind in Bermuda within the Information Technology (IT) Reseller community.
